Time For A Major Catch Up.

Yes, we're all still alive! I'd like to say I have some good excuse as to why I haven't blogged, but I
don't, so I guess a catch up post will just have to do!

Now, let me dust of my virtual file cabinet, and dig deep into my archives to find some pictures from this year... Hmm...

Here's a video I made to introduce you to mom's favorite stuffed animals... (There's no audio, so no need to turn volume up)

In May, I graduated from high school...

In June, we had Mom & Dad's 25th Anniversary Party, and it turned out great, if I may say so myself. :)

I made a slideshow of photos from the party, but it won't let me upload it! I'll keep trying...

In July, I turned 18... Finally an "adult"! :)

In August, we started back to school, and I started college.

In September, we celebrated mama's birthday!

Apparently, I haven't been very good at taking pictures this year... Sorry.

Overall, 2012 has been good to us so far. Let's hope it continues to be!

New Room!

I know it's been forever since I've posted anything, but I just wanted to let you all know that mom has a new room!

It's only one room down, room number 10! We've moved all of her furniture and decorated her room very nicely, and the layout works so much better now. :)

So, come visit her! Check out her new room!

Ketchup. Catsup. Catch Up.

So... Not much has happened with mom since I last posted. No news is good news, right? She has, however had two more UTI's, (they don't surprise us anymore) but the antibiotics have worked well and we haven't had any further problems.

Now, I'll play catch up month by month.

September:
This is what we got mom for her birthday. There is a very long (and worthwhile) story behind it that you can read here.

We celebrated her birthday with her at Heritage Park, and I made a homemade Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter and Chocolate Frosting. I'm pretty sure she enjoyed it. :) You can read my birthday wishes to her here.

October:
We celebrated Halloween with mama, too. We found her a duck hat for her costume (honestly, what could be better?)

November:
We celebrated Dad's birthday. (Should I say the number??? Hmm... Better not. Let's just say... He's not 50. Yet.)

December:
We continued all of our Christmas traditions, and decorated mom's room for the holidays. If you'll notice, in the picture to the left, I have a small nativity displayed in her shadow boxes. Mom says there was a duck present at Jesus' birth. Whatever you say, Mama. It's your nativity! :)

We had a good Christmas. I, personally enjoyed this Christmas much more than some Christmases past. Namely because it was a Christ centered Christmas. No Santa made for a very spiritual and beautiful Christmas for me.

In case somehow, we neglected to get a Christmas card to you, here is a (late) virtual greeting from us! Happy New Year!

January:

So far, 2012 is treating us well. I have yet to take any pictures, (sorry!) I'll have to get on that. Mom is currently finishing up an antibiotic for a UTI, but seems to be in good spirits.

There it is. The end of my catsup. Uh, I mean catch up. (Yep, that looks better.)
