Tonight I was going through my usual days assortment of emails. Then. I find my youngest daughter's blog post.
Holly's Blog (Please, follow the link read her blog and be ready to be moved.) I read it, reread it, and cried, I couldn't help thinking of all the things my girls have missed out on with their Mom. As their father, I am supposed to be able to make everything better, but there are just some things earthly fathers have no control over.

I thank God, daily, for the wonderful people who have stepped in when needed, or followed promptings of the Spirit, and at just the
right moment to offer comfort, no matter how insignificant you may think it is.
God bless,
Jeff you said that you cried but you didn't warn anyone reading Holly's blog that they would need a box of tissues close at hand when reading it. I know I can't replace their mom but as their aunt I should of been there at those times that a dad just would do. Ash and Holly, let me know if there is ever a time you need someone.
ReplyDeleteYou're awesome Jeff. Keep your head up, you are doing an amazing job and I KNOW that Ashley and Holly just love you to pieces!!! I do too :)
